It’s not super spicy for the first few books but I loved the adventure! I will admit this is particularly nostalgia for me as well since a lot of the series is set in Atlanta where I grew up.
And it's legitimately funny. My kiddo has a fundraiser at Applebee's next month and my husband & I have started calling it "fruit-insect" based on Roland's insistence on having family dinner there, and Ghastek trying to draw out the name ... 🍎🐝
Okay, I know you didn’t technically ask for my ranking, but I just couldn’t resist jumping in! Here’s where I stand on the paranormal front:
1. Magic / wizards / witches
2. Shifters / werewolves
3. Demons
4. Vampires (but hard pass on blood play for me)
5. Ghosts (tbh, I’m only listing them because I’ve never actually read a ghost book!)
Also, I’m 100% with Meg! If I could erase my memory and read the Kate Daniels series all over again, I absolutely would. One of my all-time faves!
OK, I may have to go read the Kate Daniels series now...

It’s added to my TBR!
